Van's RV-3

Registration: ZK-WHO

Following a landing mishap at the 2007 Classic Fighters Airshow this aircraft was repaired and returned to flight following the replacement of the lower RH wing that had been damaged beyond economical repair in the incident. Sourced by the owner from Air Repair Inc, the wing was then covered with Ceconite and doped with Randolph products. The aircraft was re-rigged and returned to flight with the test pilots remarking that it was the best flying Stearman they had ever flown! Since then the aircraft has been regularly maintained at it's Bridge Pa, Hawkes Bay base by JEM aviation.
